Landscapes are popular subjects in art so the fourth graders learned about the different parts that make a landscape. A landscape has a horizon line (a line which separates the sky and ground), background, and foreground. The farther away something is, the smaller it will be on the picture. They also learned that things closer to the viewer will be closer to the bottom of the page too. Using paper, they collaged their landscapes. Notice how realistic they are!
