The first graders have been learning about lines and how they can use them to create interesting designs. However, up until now, they've been working 2-dimensionally. Using strips of paper, they were asked to create an imaginary playground with twisting tunnels and slides, swings, and even roller coasters. Focusing on lines, they discovered various ways to recreate what they've learned in 3-d.
